Originally I am living in Chicago and got used to cold winters and severe winds. While planning to visit Toronto in winter I wasn’t scared of the climate but to find myself in the other country was a challenge for me and my friends. We are five actually – we are very close and helpful. We went to the same school and graduated from the medical college together. It is fun but it is true. One of five friends is a guy from St. Luis and he will have to arrive to Chicago to join us surely. We were fond of developing new places on earth – meet new people, learn their traditions and customs, and have a great time together. Traveling broadens peoples’ minds, I am sure. The happiest man is one who can afford traveling.

Toronto is the great port city – it is located on Lake Ontario – near the western end of the lake. There are over 700,000 people are living in Toronto, the largest city in the country. The outskirts of Toronto are developing very rapidly, and the metropolitan area that includes Toronto now has a population over three million. This is a very industrial, commerce and cultural center of Canada. There we could see coal docks, warehouses, and railroad yards along the shore. Toronto is the second most important manufacturing city in the country. They print and publish newspapers and magazines for the whole country. Its factories and plants export lots of electrical goods, metal products and food production. They are famous for making planes, machines, and power devices.
